The Columbia Bombshells are a Division II women's rugby team located in Columbia, South Carolina. We are in our Summer Season and are exciting to be playing Summer SEVENS rugby all around the South East. We are currently accepting new players and we will consider all skill and fitness levels. No prior rugby experience necessary, but previous sports experience a plus!

Basic Dictionary:

Pitch - Rugby Field

Try - Score in Rugby

Knock On - when the ball moves forward off of a player, this is a penalty

Ruck - occurs after a tackle when both teams attempt to secure the ball

Scrum - a contest of strength between each teams 'forwards' to gain possession of the ball.

Line Out - a contest for possession after the ball goes 'out of bounds' (this is where the players are lifted into the air)
